PCB issues show-cause notice to Naseem Shah over alleged contract breach

Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a show-cause notice to Naseem Shah for allegedly violating the terms of his central contract along with the board’s media policy and regulations.
Naseem, who is currently representing Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has been formally notified under the PCB’s disciplinary framework. According to the board, the young fast bowler is required to submit his response within the stipulated time period.
The notice pertains to an alleged breach of contractual obligations and media guidelines, although specific details of the violation have not been publicly disclosed.
PCB officials stated that the matter will be reviewed once Naseem submits his explanation. Any further action, if deemed necessary, will be taken in accordance with the board’s rules and regulations.
