Pakistan Champions withdraw from WCL season 3 after PCB denies NOC

Pakistan Champions have confirmed that they will not be able to participate in the ongoing Season 3 of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) maintained its decision to withhold the required No-Objection Certificate (NOC).

The team’s owner, Kamil Khan, had formally requested the PCB to reconsider its decision and had also remained engaged in discussions regarding the team’s participation in the global cricket event.

However, the PCB ultimately decided not to issue the NOC, effectively ruling out Pakistan Champions’ participation in the tournament.

“We respect the PCB’s authority and its decision. However, we are certainly disappointed that our players will not have the opportunity to represent Pakistan Champions at this global cricket event featuring legends of the game,” Kamil Khan said.

Pakistan Champions also thanked their players, supporters and fans for their patience and continued support, expressing gratitude for their backing throughout the situation.

The development means Pakistan Champions will miss out on the opportunity to compete alongside former international stars in the third season of the WCL.
