Right-handed batter Yasir Khan was the star of the show as Pakistan Shaheens started their Top End T20 Series 2025 campaign with a dominant win over Bangladesh A at the TIO Stadium, Darwin.

Yasir scored a match-winning 62 runs, playing a crucial role in securing the team’s opening victory in the tournament. His confident knock anchored the innings and set the tone for what the team hopes will be a successful campaign.

“Alhamdulillah, we won our first match. Hard work is paying off,” Yasir said after the game. “I’ll try to become the best batter in the tournament and help my team win the final.”
