‘A Dream Delivery for a Left-Arm Spinner’: Arafat Minhas on dismissing Harry Brook

Pakistan all-rounder Arafat Minhas described his outstanding performance against England as a memorable day after scoring 59 runs and claiming six wickets for 40 runs in an impressive display with both bat and ball.
Speaking to PCB Digital, Minhas said winning the match was the most important thing, adding that the performance would remain special for him.
Minhas also achieved a notable milestone in One-Day International cricket, becoming the third Pakistani player to score a half-century and take five or more wickets in the same match.
Reflecting on his bowling performance, the left-arm spinner said bowling in the right areas had helped him achieve success against England.
“The plan from the captain was to bowl in good areas,” Minhas said, highlighting the importance of executing the team's strategy.
He also singled out his dismissal of England captain Harry Brook, describing the delivery as a dream ball for a left-arm spinner.
“The ball I bowled to Harry Brook is a dream delivery for a left-arm spinner,” he said.
Minhas further revealed that Pakistan needed a partnership when he came in to bat. His contribution with the bat helped put England under pressure, while his subsequent bowling performance strengthened Pakistan's position in the match.
The all-rounder also credited Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium for providing him with another memorable experience, saying the venue had proved special for him.
With a crucial half-century and six wickets to his name, Minhas delivered a match-defining all-round performance, underlining his value to Pakistan's limited-overs setup.
