The Pindiz rejects statements attributed to owner over Mohammad Rizwan-NCCIA matter

ISLAMABAD: The Pindiz has categorically denied statements allegedly attributed to its owner, M. Ahsan Tahir, regarding Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Rizwan and the ongoing NCCIA matter.

In an official statement, The Pindiz said that Tahir had not issued any statement on the matter and termed the remarks attributed to him as “entirely fabricated.”

The organisation said the comments published by a media outlet were not made by its owner and called for the publication to immediately retract the attribution, issue a clear correction and offer a public apology.

The Pindiz further said it takes the unauthorised fabrication and attribution of statements to its ownership seriously.

The organisation added that it reserves all

rights and would take appropriate measures to protect the reputation and interests of M. Ahsan Tahir and The Pindiz.

The statement comes amid the ongoing NCCIA matter involving Mohammad Rizwan.
