A dispute has surfaced within a Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise after majority owner Mohammad Shahid alleged that his business partner attempted to sell additional shares in the team without proper authorization.

According to a statement circulating on social media, Shahid — owner of the PSL franchise @PSLStallionz — claims he holds a 76 per cent stake in the team, while his partner Hamza Majeed owns 24 per cent shares. Shahid has accused Majeed of trying to sell further shares in the franchise without his consent.

Shahid said he has formally informed both the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the PSL management about the matter and has reserved the right to initiate legal proceedings if necessary.

The development has raised concerns over internal governance and ownership clarity within the franchise. Neither the PCB nor PSL management has issued an official response so far regarding the allegations.

Attempts to seek a response from Hamza Majeed were unsuccessful at the time of filing this report.

The situation marks another off-field controversy for the league as stakeholders await further clarification from the concerned parties.
