Peshawar Zalmi defends Gurbaz direct signing, reaffirms commitment to PSL vision

Peshawar Zalmi has issued an official press release defending its recent direct signing of Afghanistan wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz, emphasizing that the move was carried out in full compliance with Pakistan Super League (PSL) regulations and with complete approval from both the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB).

The franchise reiterated its status as one of the most successful and influential teams in PSL history, crediting its loyal fan base as a key pillar behind its decade-long growth and consistency.

According to Zalmi, Gurbaz’s signing was finalized only after he received full No Objection Certificate (NOC) clearance from both cricket boards.
