LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has initiated an internal disciplinary inquiry following media reports concerning issues related to discipline and conduct, PCB spokesperson Amir Mir confirmed.

In a statement shared on social media, Mir said the matter is currently being reviewed internally and that the PCB is handling the proceedings in accordance with its standard procedures and regulations.
“The Pakistan Cricket Board has initiated an internal disciplinary inquiry following media reports concerning discipline and conduct, which are currently being reviewed internally,” Mir stated.
He added that the process is being conducted under PCB regulations and that all individuals concerned would be given due consideration.
The PCB also cautioned against speculation and unverified claims circulating on social media, particularly reports originating from what it described as hostile external sources.
The board said it would not comment further on the matter at this stage and urged stakeholders and the public to rely solely on official PCB communications.
The inquiry comes amid growing discussion surrounding discipline and conduct within Pakistan cricket, with the PCB expected to provide further information if and when appropriate.
