NCCIA questionnaire for Mohammad Rizwan revealed in online betting probe

The five-page questionnaire issued to Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Rizwan by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has surfaced, revealing details sought from the batter as part of an ongoing inquiry into online betting in Pakistan cricket.

The questionnaire was presented before the High Court by the NCCIA’s lawyer, Assistant Attorney General.

According to the questionnaire, Rizwan has been asked to provide details of his social media accounts over the past 10 years. The agency has also sought information about his sources of salary and income from rent during the last five years.

Rizwan has further been asked to disclose details of profits earned on money held in bank accounts, along with household and educational expenses incurred over the past five years.

The questionnaire also seeks details of inherited properties and any buying or selling of property during the last five years.

In addition, the cricketer has been asked to provide details of international trips undertaken during the past five years, including the expenses incurred, as well as details of domestic travel during the same period.

The NCCIA has also asked Rizwan to disclose whether he borrowed money from anyone during the last five years and, if so, provide details of such loans.

Meanwhile, the notice issued to Rizwan by the NCCIA has also emerged. The notice states that the agency is conducting an inquiry into online betting in Pakistan cricket.

According to the notice, Rizwan’s statement is required to be recorded as part of the investigation. It further states that failure to appear before the agency would be treated as an indication that he has nothing to offer in his defence.
