In yet another powerful initiative, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has rolled out a major educational program for Pakistan’s budding cricket stars. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has signed a three-year agreement with the Beaconhouse School System to provide full academic scholarships to 120 young cricketers from across 16 regions of the country.

The scholarships will cover players from the Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 levels, allowing them to pursue quality education alongside their cricket training from July 2025 to July 2028.

Speaking at the signing ceremony at Gaddafi Stadium, Naqvi said the initiative is aimed at building a stronger and more educated generation of players.

“This partnership will have a lasting impact, enabling our youth to excel both on the field and in the classroom,” he said.

The move has been widely lauded as another decisive step under Naqvi’s leadership, helping talented but financially challenged cricketers chase both their dreams and degrees.
